This year Namibia will celebrate her 35 Independence Day.
Those from the Namibian diaspora in Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden who would like to participate in the official celebrations should register by e-mail to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
by Sunday, 16 March 2025 at the latest so that the Mission can issue an invitation for the celebrations.

We are mourning the passing of His Excellency Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, the beloved Founding Father of the Namibian Nation and the first President of the Republic of Namibia, on Saterday, 8 February 2025 at 23h45 in Windhoek, Namibia.
The Government of the Republic of Namibia has declared a mourning period from 9th February 2025 until further notice.

A condolence book is open for signature at the Embassy of Namibia, Luntmakargatan 88 in Stockholm, Sweden, from Wednesday, 12th February 2025 to Friday, 28 February 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00.

PURPOSE
The Embassy hereby wishes to once again call upon all registered voters to be prepared to exercise their civic responsibility and democratic right to vote during the upcoming Presidential and National Assembly Elections which is scheduled to be held at the Embassy of the Republic of Namibia in Stockholm, Sweden on 13 November 2024.
The objective of this announcement is aimed at informing all Namibian living in and around Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland , as well as registered Namibians who may find themselves in Sweden on the voting day to come to the Embassy and cast their votes on 13 November 2024.
Voting starts at 07h00 – 21h00
