The Mission in Stockholm

The Chancery on Luntmakargatan was established soon after independance in 1990. Before SWAPO (The biggest political party in Namibia who fought hard for independence) had an office on Kungsgatan in the center of Stockholm. There are currently nine people working a the Embassy. Four are Namibian diplomats and five are locally employed staff. The diplomats are normally replaced every four years according to the foreign service rules.
