On 15 March, H.E. Mrs Theresia Samaria presented her Letters of Credence to President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė.  She also met with Lithuania’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Šarūnas Adomavičius, who welcomed her as the first Namibian Ambassador to Lithuania.

Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources Dr Abraham Iyambo, at an impromptu gathering organised by Ministry personnel to celebrate the awards he received from various international fisheries organisations, said the awards conferred on him are because of the dedication and hard work of the personnel at his ministry.
